Tiger Oma’s Review Policy

1. All my reviews are my own thoughts and honest opinions. I try to focus on the positives of the book, but I reserve the right to mention the negatives.
2. On Tiger Oma, I try to focus on middle school and YA books. I like all the genres in these two areas. Please check out Tiger Oma's Unbiased Reviews to see if your book fits into the categories I review.  I will make exceptions, but this is up to my discretion. I accept ebooks, I have a Kindle, as well as physical copies.
3. Books sent to me will be read and reviewed in a timely manner.  My goal is to keep it under 3 months. I am a full time middle school teacher, have a family, and enjoy several hobbies.
4. I am happy to pre-schedule a review date if requested and the date fits my schedule.  
5. I reserve the right to use the book cover and excerpts in my review. (http://copyright.gov/fls/fl102.html)
6. Reviews may contain a link to the author’s website, blog and the author’s photo.
7. I post my reviews on Tiger Oma’s Unbiased Opinion, Goodreads, Amazon, YABC, Twitter and Facebook.  I also post to NetGalley and the Children’s and Young Adult  Book Review Board of Missouri if the book is on my review list for these sites.
8. I try to notify the author and publisher through email or Twitter when I post my reviews.
9. If a review request is part of a series, I'd like to read the books before the book requested to be reviewed so as to better acquaint myself with the story.
10. I do not sell books that are sent to me. However, I reserve the right to give them away, mostly to my students and former students.  The ARC will not be given away until after the posted publication date.
11. Blog content can only be used with my permission.
